Improving 1st and 2nd Pull in the Snatch

Deficit snatch pulls are a great way to improve pulling power in the snatch, as well as improve athlete mobility. They allow you to pull a lot heavier weights than you would normal snatch so you can build a reserve of strength to help get that 1rm up. The one thing to keep in mind is that if you are still working on the start position, or lack the mobility to safely lift from a deficit, just stick to lifting from the floor.
