Building Your Crossfit Engine

We often steak about building your engine, meaning your capacity to do more work faster for various durations. Training your ability to go harder longer, is the foundation of what true Crossfit workouts are built. With the open near, although gains in strength capacity will be limited, fine tuning the power output aspect of training should be the priority now. This means really challenging yourself to go as hard as you can during workouts to get that power output up, . One of my favorite tools for building an engine is the 400 meter sprint. If it is truly sprinted, the 400 is one of the most brutal exercises you can do for pushing the limit.
